By registering and using Cleta’s services, you consent and agree that the processing of your personal data will be carried out in accordance with the information provided in this document and with the provisions of Law No. 18,331, of August 11, 2008, and Decree No. 414/009, of August 21, 2009.
1. Data Processing
The personal data collected and accessed for registration in Cleta’s database include but are not limited to:
- Identification data: full name, institutional email.
- Service usage data: bicycle loan history, dates and times of use, pick-up and drop-off locations, incident reports.
- Technical data: IP addresses, access logs.
The data is used to manage the bicycle loan service, ensure system security, perform maintenance, address user complaints, and generate usage statistics (the latter in an anonymized manner).
Once in production, personal data will be in databases registered with the Regulatory and Personal Data Control Unit, owned by Fiets, and will have adequate security measures that will guarantee their integrity, availability, and confidentiality.
2. Cookies
Cleta’s web application and administrative panel use strictly necessary cookies to maintain the session and improve the user experience. The user can configure their browser to reject cookies, without prejudice to limiting certain functionalities of the service.
3. Exercise of Rights
The user may exercise their foreseen rights at any time: access, rectification, update, inclusion, and suppression.
To exercise these rights, you must send a request through the contact form or to the email team@cleta.app, proving your identity through your institutional email or identity document.
4. Links
This Privacy Policy applies exclusively to Cleta’s sites, portals, services, or content and does not extend to links to other sites, portals, services, or content of different ownership.
5. Applicable Law and Competent Jurisdiction
This Policy is governed in all its clauses and without exception by the laws of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay. Any controversy derived from this document related to its existence, validity, interpretation, scope, or compliance will be submitted to ordinary Courts of the city of Montevideo, Uruguay.
